My Review on Leading Men in Music
The same problems in this book are also in Leading Women in Music, so there’s little to say. Adding people like Quincy Jones and Simon Cowell is thoughtful instead of focusing on the musicians. There are good laughs and plenty of inspiration that you can gain from this book. As I said in Leading Women in Music , it’s an easy read, especially if you want a quick dive into someone’s life.

A Five-Star Review
I’m always interested in how people in music got their starts and where their interests originated but I love that this book shares some insights into the ‘giving back’ aspects of these artists. My favourite chapters were Ed Sheeran and Eminem (what an absolute success story for this man), and of course, Andrea Bocelli, who’s music hits me in the heart-I love what he says about “It is absolutely true that to whom much is given, much is asked.” This was an interesting read and a great variety of artists.
Another Five-Star Review
I’ve just finished listening to the audiobook version and what a treat it was – a trip down memory lane revisiting old favourites but finding out so much about these great musicians that I didn’t know before. From Freddie Mercury, to Stevie Wonder, Prince to Elton John and so the list went on, it was a veritable feast from the greats celebrated in this compilation of facts and intrigue. Their early lives were the most interesting to me, realising how many of them came from humble beginnings to rise to become the household names they are today. Highly recommended audiobook.

Five-Star Review
What a brilliant and informative look at the these leading men of music. I absolutely loved this audio book, surprised as to how little I knew about some of my favourite artists, and leaving me with such a high respect for their dedication. It was awesome to take look inside their lives and truly appreciate their gifts to the world, not only in with their music but the many charitable things that they support. This book is so well written by Jene Roswell. The narration by Mike Thomas was terrific. If I could give this book 10 stars I would.
Well done, can’t wait to get to your next book Jene.
Another Five-Star
This was such a great book, I really enjoyed it. All my favorites such as Michael Jackson, Ed Sheeran, Elvis to name a few. There were so many interesting facts I didn’t know. I felt like I know them a bit better now. I had no idea how generous most of them were and how much they gave away to charities. It was a real eye-opener. Great book and highly recommend.

Is It Worth It?
It’s worth it if you think it’s worth it. What do I mean by that? Exactly what I said. If you don’t mind all the cons, it’s worth it. If you do, I would reconsider your purchasing choice. It’s fantastic if you got a use for it. I didn’t, but I’m glad I gave it a chance. For more comments on the book, see the Leading Women review (my view is very similar to what I think of this book.)
